Meet Mrs. Snowberger!

We know CPDLF students and their families liked to get to know our educators and staff members, so we’re putting together personality profiles on some fan favorites, like Mrs. Snowberger.

Mrs. Snowberger with her family.

Current Roles: Office Manager (This means you’ll see her working in Human Resources, Business Support, Payroll, Contracts and Agreements, helping prep for School Board Meetings, and so much more.)

County Residence: Blair

Family: Husband, two children, a cat, and a dog she inherited from her son

Favorite School Subject: “I liked math because of the focus and attention to detail required. My worst subject was English!”

Why CPDLF: “I started here part-time and worked my way up to full-time. I love the flexibility and the understanding nature of the team. Everyone works WITH you. We all get along very well and even if we’re not all in the office each day, we’re still friends with each other inside and outside of work.”

What She Loves About CPDLF Learners: “They have potential! You can see that in the kids and see that they try their best to succeed. They may need a little push at times, which gives us the chance to encourage them and offer a helping hand. One learner a couple years back was going through a lot. She always wore black clothes and I asked her why she didn't wear colors. She said "It's not me.” I bought her a yellow shirt and gave it to her to try. She showed up for Learning Lab wearing that shirt. I wasn't there that day so my coworkers took pictures of her to show me. She's going to graduate this year and I knew deep down she could do it. They just need that motivation and encouragement. All the kids are special here.
