At the Central Pennsylvania Digital Learning Foundation (CPDLF), we hear this question often. As a virtual public K-12 school, we understand that this myth stems from traditional views of education. However, cyber school can be a transformative experience, fostering skills like self-direction, academic tenacity, and curiosity.
In the first blog, we talked about Learning Guides, the dedicated mentors who help our CPDLF students thrive, then we spoke about Learning Coaches in our last blog. In this edition of the mini-series, we're introducing those who help our Learners master concepts: our PA-certified instructors.

PA-Certified Instructors: Expertise at Every Step
At CPDLF, Learners aren’t left to figure things out on their own. They are guided by highly qualified instructors who bring subject matter expertise and a passion for teaching to the virtual classroom. Through a combination of live sessions, pre-recorded lessons, and interactive activities, CPDLF instructors:
- Deliver engaging and accessible content tailored to diverse learning styles.
- Provide consistent feedback and support to ensure Learners understand the material.
- Foster curiosity and creativity, encouraging Learners to explore subjects beyond the curriculum.
By working closely with instructors, Learners build a strong academic foundation while developing skills like problem-solving and critical thinking—skills that are just as important as staying focused.
In Part 4 of this series, we'll talk about how CPDLF leverages technology to enhance Learner focus and engagement. Stay tuned!
